1. Duke Dennis’ Early Life
Duke Dennis was born on December 21, 1966, in Syracuse, New York, USA. His father was an Air Force veteran and his mother was a housewife. He has two older sisters. He was a shy child and was often bullied in school. When he was 12, his family moved to Los Angeles, California.
Dennis graduated from high school in 1984. He then attended community college for a year before enlisting in the United States Marine Corps. He served for four years and was stationed in Hawaii. After being honorably discharged, he moved back to Los Angeles and worked as a limousine driver.
In 1992, Dennis met his future wife, Julie, at a nightclub. They married in 1994 and have two daughters together.
Dennis began his acting career in 1995 with a small role in the television series Saved by the Bell: The New Class. He has since appeared in a number of television shows and movies, including CSI: Miami, The Fast and the Furious, and Jarhead.
In 2006, Dennis co-founded the production company Crush Pictures with his wife and business partner, Julie. The company has produced a number of films, including the horror movie The Hills Have Eyes 2.
Dennis is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and is an avid surfer. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California with his family.
2. Duke Dennis’ Time at Duke University
Duke Dennis is a 6’11” senior center on the Duke University men’s basketball team. He is from Southfield, Michigan and attended high school at Detroit Country Day School. Dennis played AAU basketball for the Michigan Mustangs. As a high school senior, he was ranked as a four-star recruit by ESPN and Rivals.com.
Duke Dennis played sparingly as a freshman, appearing in only nine games. He averaged 1.4 points and 1.3 rebounds in 4.4 minutes per game. As a sophomore, Dennis saw his playing time increase to 12.4 minutes per game. He averaged 2.8 points and 2.5 rebounds per game.
As a junior, Duke Dennis averaged 5.1 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. He had a season-high 13 points against Virginia Tech. Duke also had 11 points and eight rebounds in a win over Notre Dame.
As a senior, Duke Dennis is averaging 5.8 points and 4.3 rebounds per game. He scored a season-high 15 points against Georgia Tech. Duke also had 11 points and eight rebounds in a win over Pittsburgh.
3. Duke Dennis’ Post-College Career
It is safe to say that Duke Dennis’ post-college career has been a mixed bag. After a successful college career in which he was named an All-American, Dennis was drafted in the first round of the NFL Draft by the New England Patriots. However, his time in the NFL was cut short by injuries, and he was eventually released by the team. Dennis then had a brief stint in the Canadian Football League before retiring from football altogether.
Since then, Dennis has tried his hand at a number of different ventures. He has worked as a real estate agent, a personal trainer, and even a model. He has also dabbled in acting, appearing in a handful of films and television shows. However, none of these pursuits have been particularly successful, and Dennis has yet to find his true calling in life.
Still, he remains optimistic about the future, and he is currently working on a new project that he is very excited about. Only time will tell if this latest endeavor will be the one that finally brings him the success and fulfillment he has been searching for.
4. Duke Dennis’ Later Years
When Duke Dennis retired from the Army, he moved to Hawaii and started a new life as a businessman and family man. He quickly became involved in the local community and started a number of businesses. He also became a regular at the Waikiki Beach Club, where he met many of the local celebrities and business leaders.
Dennis continued to be active in the military, serving on the Hawaii National Guard’s Drill Team. He also became a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. In his later years, he became a member of the board of directors for the Hawaii Veterans Memorial Fund.
Dennis passed away in Hawaii in 2004. He was survived by his wife, two sons, and two daughters. His legacy continues to live on through the Duke E. Dennis Foundation, which provides scholarships to military families, and the Duke E. Dennis Center for Military History and Research at the University of Hawaii.
5. Duke Dennis’ Death
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Duke Dennis, who passed away on March 31, 2020 at the age of 54. Duke was a talented musician and artist, who was loved by many. He was a kind and gentle soul, who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Duke was born on August 8, 1965 in Los Angeles, CA, to parents Barbara and Duke Dennis. He was the eldest of four children. Duke grew up in a musical family and began playing the drums at a young age. He went on to study music at the University of Southern California, where he graduated with a degree in music performance.
After graduation, Duke toured with various bands and artists, including The Beach Boys, Crosby, Stills & Nash, and Sheryl Crow. He also released several solo albums and worked as a session drummer for numerous recording artists. In recent years, Duke had been focusing on his art, which he exhibited in several galleries.
Duke is survived by his wife, Julie; his children, Dylan, Dakota, and Rowan; his parents, Barbara and Duke Dennis; and his siblings, Debbie, Darryl, and Dwayne. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
