It has been a very challenging IPL 2022 season for both Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings. Both teams are on the bottom of the table with a combined one win in 12 games and are struggling to get back to winning ways.

After a brilliant innings, CSK won the match by 3 wickets to go 2-0 up in the IPL. The Chennai bowlers ripped apart the Mumbai batting line-up.
Mukesh Choudhary was in outstanding form as he picked up three important wickets for CSK to start the innings. He removed Rohit Sharma (0), Ishan Kishan (0) and Dewald Brevis (4).
Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Delhi Capitals
DC vs SRH was a match between two teams that have been on opposite ends of the table so far in this season. While SRH have won 5 out of their 9 matches, Delhi Capitals have lost 5 out of their 9 games.
DC managed to win the match by a comfortable margin, defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad by 21 runs. David Warner (92 not out) and Rovman Powell (67 not out) took Delhi Capitals to 207/3 before they restricted Hyderabad to 186/8.
Meanwhile, Delhi dominated the game with the ball as well. Anrich Nortje bowled a fantastic spell to keep Hyderabad at bay and also kept them below the required run rate.
It is a very impressive performance from Anrich Nortje as he not only took the wickets but also restricted Hyderabad to just 134 runs. He was well supported by the rest of the bowlers.
It was a great all round performance from DC as they won the game by 21 runs. They have now moved to the top of the table replacing Chennai Super Kings. They will be looking to continue their dominance with the bat and with the ball. They will be relying on their core players, including David Warner and Rishabh Pant to perform at their best.
Rajasthan Royals vs Gujarat Titans
The 104,859 spectators at the Narendra Modi Stadium witnessed an historic IPL match yesterday. In the ensuing contest, Gujarat Titans beat Rajasthan Royals by seven wickets to win their maiden title.
The Titans started their league campaign as the top team and bucked all pre-tournament predictions to reach the final. They have been backed up by a strong bowling line-up that features one of the tournament’s fastest bowlers and an excellent batting lineup that contains some big names.
In the middle overs, Gill and Miller were in excellent touch as they added a couple of boundaries to keep the pressure on RR. With four required off just 12 balls, Gill smashed a huge six over square to secure the victory for the IPL debutants.
Meanwhile, Jos Buttler remained in-form with 39 runs off 35 balls as he aided RR to score 130 for nine in 20 overs. Earlier, Rajasthan had lost the toss and won the ball but they restricted the hosts to 130 for nine thanks to a brilliant spell by Hardik Pandya.
In reply, the hosts were in no mood to let up despite losing the crucial early wickets of Yashasvi Jaiswal (3) and Sanju Samson (0). The duo put up a feisty stand of 68 in a few overs. But a late burst of wickets cost them the game as RR were forced to settle for 131 for 7.
